Notary Assistance & Wills

Preparation of documents for notarisation, DIFC and ADJD wills, powers of attorney and succession planning — drafted to the registry's standard and seen through to registration.

Overview

What this engagement covers

Notarised instruments — powers of attorney, declarations, corporate resolutions — and properly registered wills are the documents that quietly determine what happens when something goes wrong: an illness, a dispute, an unexpected event abroad.

We prepare these documents to a standard that the UAE notary, DIFC Wills Service or ADJD Wills Office will accept first time, and coordinate the appointment and registration on your behalf.

Scope

What we deliver

  • DIFC Wills (full, guardianship, financial assets, business owner)
  • ADJD non-Muslim wills
  • Powers of attorney (special and general)
  • Affidavits and declarations
  • Corporate resolutions for notarisation
  • Translation to Arabic where required
  • Notary appointment booking and accompaniment
  • Storage, registration and certified copies
Process

How we work

  1. 01

    Intake and structure

We discuss the assets, dependants and intentions in detail and propose the right combination of instruments (one will, multiple wills, or a will plus a power of attorney).

  2. 02

    Drafting

We draft to the templates and conventions of the registry that will hold the document, with cross-checks for naming, assets and beneficiaries.

  3. 03

    Review and translation

We circulate drafts for confirmation and, where the document needs to be in Arabic, arrange legal translation through approved translators.

  4. 04

    Registration

We coordinate the registry appointment, accompany the testator or grantor, and deliver the registered copies and supporting paperwork.

Notes

Important to know

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal opinions or contentious legal advice. Document drafting is offered as a corporate and administrative service; matters that require contested legal proceedings or formal legal advice are referred to qualified UAE counsel.
